The Haunted Decatur Tour is a terrifying and entertaining trip into the unknown that takes visitors to the most haunted places in the city of Decatur! Journey from this world to the next with tour host, Skip Huston, who originally created the tours with Haunted Decatur author Troy Taylor back in 1994!

The spine-tingling tour continues to thrill audiences today! The tickets for the tours are a guaranteed sell-out every October but now the tour is available to private groups all year round!

TOUR SCHEDULE FOR OCTOBER 2006 WILL BE POSTED HERE AUGUST 2006.

Tickets will be On-Sale 9 AM Saturday, Sept. 30th, 2006 at The Old Book Barn in Forsyth!!

(Tours Leave at 7 PM SHARP from The Avon Theatre!!)

REGULAR / STANDARD TOURS: Run on Weeknights and include all tour attractions and stops, plus the Greenwood Cemetery "dead of night" walking tour. Average duration: 2 hours

DELUXE TOURS: Include all attractions in the Regular Tour, but run on weekends and have some slightly extended stops. Average duration around 2 hours & 15 minutes.

SUPER DELUXE TOURS: These are usually the Halloween night tours, and/or have "Special Guests" aboard. They have the same stops and sites of the "Deluxe Tours", but have the added value of the special night and/or guests. Average Duration: Varies. 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours.

(All tours are subject in duration to the speed of crowd movement)

*Dress warmly and feel free to bring a flashlight and camera.

*Keep talking to an absolute minimum! Those disturbing other’s enjoyment will be asked to leave the tour with no refund of tickets. STRICTLY ENFORCED!

*Alcoholic beverages are not allowed on ANY of the tours!!

*Anyone showing up to board the bus in an obviously intoxicated or impaired state will not be allowed on the bus! No refunds will be given to such individuals.

TOURS LEAVE PROMPTLY AT 7 PM FROM THE AVON THEATRE IN DOWNTOWN DECATUR. THE PARKING GARAGE DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE AVON OFFERS FREE AND SAFE PARKING.

Note: The Haunted Decatur Tours involve a considerable amount of walking. Please
be aware that patrons who have problems walking can stay on the bus during off-the-bus stops.

NOTE: Due to the actions of a few obnoxious drunks, we will no longer offer "Private Tours" with Alcohol!!

The Haunted Decatur takes you on a bus journey to the REAL haunted places and the ghost-infested sites of the city. Each tour promises to give you a look at the side of Decatur that few ever see... the haunted side! Remember that every tour is different and we never promise that you will experience the supernatural in the course of an evening.... however, strange things have occurred on the Haunted Decatur Tour in the past!
